FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATIONS

Why fill out the free/reduced meal application if school meals are FREE for ALL students?

• Calavera's Title 1 status and additional funding for the school are provided based on the number of students eligible for this program.
• Eligibility may help you obtain other resources and benefits such as Pandemic EBT, CalFresh, and other assistance programs through the school or community.
• Eligibility may qualify you for ELO-P providing the opportunity for free/reduced Kids Care or After School Enrichment classes through Carlsbad Education Foundation pending space in the program.

BRUNCH & LUNCH AT CHE

CHE’s Kitchen is open for a breakfast snack at recess time and for a lunch meal. Students use their 5-digit student ID to get a meal from the cafeteria.  Meals are free for ALL students.
